Lead Time: Production is roughly 5-8 business days + shipping.

Raceway: You can source them locally w/ your installation plan and/or we can ship one to you.  It will ship unassembled/sections, raw aluminum (i.e., not painted), and separately from any Channel Letter Orders.

Power Transformer: 4"x5"x14" for 1 transformer and 4"x9"x14" for 2 transformers (5 Year Warranty)

Hardware: Installation hardware is not included. We do provide a a general list of hardware recommendations that can be used depending on building façade. 

Prior to Manufacture and/or Shipment, Franchisee will be Required to Sign An Order Acknowledgement that the following has been accomplished:

  1.  Corporate Artwork Approval - That you have approved the Exterior Signage by a member of the Liberty Tax Marketing Team (i.e., Corporate Offices)
  2. Landlord Approval - That you have a signed Lease or Lease Amendment for Outdoor Signage approval.
  3. Local Permit - That you have the local permit(s) required to Install the Outdoor Signage.
  4. Installation - That you have contracted a lawfully authorized Entity or Individual to locally Install your "Ready-To-Install" Signage.
  5. Sizing confirmation - That you have confirmed your signs sizing when compared to building face, local codes and city law installation.

Common Questions:

Q: What’s needed for the permit process and what information do you need from the Franchisee?
A: Permits require all or some of these documents:

  • the property owner’s signed approval
  • sealed plans by a licensed engineer. This plan is required by many towns for certain types of signs.
  • a special committee review application (such as planning board or special improvement district)
  • a zoning application form
  • a building and electrical application form. If the sign is illuminated, electrical approval is needed.
  • your sign’s drawings, supplied by PotatoHead Signs.

Q: What are some factors that can affect the permit process?

  • Additional review processes. In some towns, review boards and committees such as historical commissions require previewing permit applications. The procedure is separate from the permit process and can extend the lead time. For instance, some towns have an architectural review board. During the board meeting, members preview the sign application and often provide comments, additions and changes to the proposal.
  • Sign variance process. When a customer wants exceptions to the sign code, he may request a sign variance. The process has higher fees, is undertaken with an attorney and can take several months.

Shipping Info

All printed signs have a production time of 3-5 days from the date the order was placed. This time does not include weekends or holidays. Once your order has been made it will then be shipped.

During Checkout you can choose your shipping method. Each method listed is for shipping time only. Don't forget to add production times when considering your order.

Our items may ship from two of our warehouses. One is located in Colorado, and the other in California. Because of this your items may arrive in multiple shipments.

Please be sure to check all packaging carefully as some items, like posters, may stick to the walls of boxes.
